The following issues may occur on an Xsan volume in directories that have an unresolved POSIX?group ID?(GID) and at least one access control entry: Attempting to copy a file via the Finder to the affected directory results in this alert: “The operation can’t be completed because one or more required items can’t be found. (Error code -43)” This alert may appear when creating a new folder via the Finder in the affected directory:?”The operation can’t be completed. An unexpected error occcurred (error code -43).” Command line utilities may stop responding when creating a file in the affected directory. (more…)
